About Me
From a very young age, I have always been fascinated with art. Drawing, painting, and crafting have always been my favorite hobbies. The ability to create something beautiful from scratch has always been a source of comfort and joy for me.
As I got older, my passion for art only grew stronger. In high school at the age of 16, I started my first small business called “Bows by Alantra” where I created handmade customized birthday pins. Within a few months, I learn new techniques and expanded to making more trending crafts. I found that the more I practiced, the more my skills improved. And the more my skills improved, the more confident I became in my abilities.
Now, as an adult, I continue to make time for my artistic pursuits. I have expanded my small business to be called “Lantra’s Crafts and Creations” where I make custom birthday pins, memorial pins, door hangers, t-shirts, and much more. I always feel a sense of fulfillment and happiness when I’m engaged in my “craft lab”.
As a student pursuing a degree in IMC, I wanted my passion for art to be transformed ‘digitally’ in this world of technology, and something I can make a career out of. Out of all of the IMC components, Graphic Design is my favorite. My passion for art has been a constant in my life, and I know it will continue to be for years to come.
